1a. DOUN a government establishment reached an agreement with the state government to pay cost of living adjustment wage to its staff. One year later the State government has failed to implement this.

1. Does DOUN have any legal remedy?
2. If DOUN has a legal remedy what is it likely to entail.
3. If DOUN does not operate a workers Union can its staff still bring an action.

3a. An employer is not liable for the actions of his employees, discuss this statement with respect to the workers compensation act.

4. Antecedent Misconduct.

5a. An employee can directly enforce the terms of a collective agreement though he was not a party to it. Discuss with the aid of decided cases.

6a. What are Trade Unions.

6b. Describe the procedure for formation and registration of a Trade Union.
