(c) List five areas in which management and administration are found to be similar
2. The word “organization” can stand for structure, framework, system, organized body, or process of regulating and facilitating work. Using the above as basic understanding, write short notes on the following:

(b) Provide five functions of administration
4. In comparative management, there are two fundamental theories: “universalistic theory of management” and “particularistic theory of management”.
Explain in detail the thrust of each of the two theories.
5. With regard to work classification and design, compare traditional job design as it practices in American firms with what obtains in Japanese’s companies.
