1.         (a)        In order to carry out a result-oriented research, it is essential  to take  necessary

                        steps.  Discuss EIGHT steps you would take in research process.

(b)        List FOUR limitations to scientific process

2.         (a)        Research project starts from identification of problems, discuss EIGHT sources from where you can discover such problems.

            (b)        List FOUR criteria of how the problem of investigation should be suitable to the peculiarities of the research.

3.         (a)        (i)         Mention THREE main research design you know.

                        (ii)        Explain  FOUR components of research design

(b)        Various research tools are available for use by educational researchers,  questionnaire is considered to be most common.

(i)         Discuss THREE main factors that are necessary for constructing a good questionnaire

(ii)        List SIX characteristics of good questionnaires.

(c)        Calculate the correlation coefficient of 10 ODL scores students’ in Educational Statistics (EDS) and Research methods (RM) using Spearman rank order.

4.         (a)        List EIGHT components of preliminary pages of a research  report.

(b)        Describe SIX features of research methodology that should be included in your research report.
